Emirates Airlines has made a strong start at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) by signing eight new agreements with different tourism boards. These agreements are meant to help attract more tourists to a variety of destinations around the world. The tourism boards they have partnered with are from Sharjah, The Philippines, Maldives, Visit Britain, Thailand, Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), Uganda, and Hungary.

The new partnerships show Emirates' commitment to bringing more people to visit these places and to promote the unique experiences and cultures that each destination offers. The airline is also focused on boosting tourism to the UAE, especially through these strategic partnerships.

Sharjah

Emirates and the Sharjah Commerce & Tourism Authority (SCTDA) are teaming up to promote tourism in Sharjah, a city in the UAE. The two will work together to offer special travel packages and activities for tourists. They will also advertise Sharjah to Emirates' customers through the airline’s website, and organize programs to help travel agents and the media learn more about the city.

The Philippines

Emirates and the Department of Tourism of The Philippines have agreed to work together to bring more tourists from the Middle East and Europe to the Philippines. They will work on marketing, advertising, and organizing trips for media and tourism officials from those regions.

Maldives

Emirates and the Maldives Marketing and PR Corporation will collaborate to attract more visitors to the Maldives. Emirates will use its global network to promote the Maldives and create travel packages. The airline will also help develop business and trade opportunities in the Maldives through its cargo services.

Visit Britain

Emirates has signed an agreement with VisitBritain to bring more tourists to the UK, focusing on markets in the Middle East, Far East Asia, and Australasia. They will work together on advertising, promotions, and organizing familiarization trips for media and travel agents. Emirates is a key player in this effort, as it operates many flights to the UK, including to cities like London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh, and Glasgow.

Thailand

Emirates and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) are working together to increase tourism to Thailand. They will promote the country through joint advertising, special travel packages, and familiarization trips for media and travel agents.

Japan

Emirates and the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) are also teaming up to increase tourism between Japan and the Middle East. They will share data, analyze travel trends, and work together on campaigns to promote Japan as a top tourist destination.

Uganda

Emirates has renewed its partnership with the Uganda Tourism Board to continue promoting Uganda as a tourist destination. This partnership has already helped increase passenger numbers on the Dubai-Entebbe route by 16%. Emirates and Uganda Tourism Board have also organized trips for travel agents and tour operators to help raise awareness about Uganda.

Hungary

Lastly, Emirates and Visit Hungary have agreed to work together to promote Hungary as a travel destination. They will carry out joint advertising campaigns and organize trips for media and travel agents to help boost tourism to Hungary, especially to the capital, Budapest.

These partnerships show how committed Emirates is to helping boost tourism and supporting the economies of these countries. By working together with these tourism boards, Emirates will help travelers discover new destinations and experiences.
