Emirates, the famous airline, has teamed up with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, a top luxury cruise company, to create special travel packages for people who want to enjoy both luxury air travel and cruise journeys. This new partnership aims to make it easier for travelers to plan a complete and seamless experience, combining flights and cruises in one package.

Starting in the 2026/2027 cruise season, Emirates and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises will work together to develop and promote luxury air and cruise packages in countries where they expect a lot of demand. The two companies will also create special deals for customers, called "cruise blocks," which will be available during popular cruise seasons and will match the demand for luxury travel. These blocks will give travelers better access to flights that connect with cruise ships sailing to destinations across the Indian Ocean, Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and more.

Both companies will focus on offering exceptional service by sharing helpful information about their services and exploring ways to improve customer experiences in the destinations they serve. They will also provide premium support services at key ports and airports to make sure everything goes smoothly for their luxury travelers.

Adnan Kazim, the Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, shared his excitement about this new partnership. He said, "We are excited to partner with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises and offer our customers an exceptional and seamless travel experience, combining both air and sea. We share a commitment with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises to provide unique and personalized travel options for people who expect only the best in service and quality."

Corinna Fritsch, Director of Flight & Ground Operation Services at Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, also expressed her joy about the collaboration. She said, "We are thrilled to work even more closely with Emirates. Our ships are known for providing the best comfort and a sense of adventure. It is wonderful to have a partner who understands luxury and values exclusive travel experiences as much as we do. We believe our guests, who love to travel to unique and remote places, will truly appreciate this partnership."

Emirates and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises will offer these special packages for three of Hapag-Lloyd's ships: the MV EUROPA 2, HANSEATIC inspiration, and HANSEATIC spirit. The MV EUROPA 2 is known for its relaxed luxury, with ocean-view suites, private verandas, and exclusive dining options, hosting a maximum of 500 guests. On the other hand, the expedition ships (HANSEATIC inspiration and HANSEATIC spirit) are designed for small groups, with a maximum of 230 guests. These ships visit unique destinations and provide travelers with an unforgettable adventure.

Together, Emirates and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises are working to create an amazing and luxurious travel experience for customers who enjoy both air and sea journeys.
