Dubai Chambers has taken a significant step toward strengthening economic ties with Oman through high-level meetings and strategic discussions in Sohar.

A delegation led by H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, visited Sohar in Oman’s North Al Batinah Governorate to explore opportunities for enhancing bilateral trade and cooperation.

During the visit, the delegation held talks with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry – North Al Batinah Branch. Discussions focused on deepening collaboration between business communities in Dubai and Sohar, particularly across key priority sectors. Both sides emphasized the importance of unlocking high-value opportunities and supporting sustainable trade growth.

The delegation also toured SOHAR Port and Freezone and Sohar Industrial City (Madayn), where they engaged in detailed discussions on improving the movement of goods, strengthening supply chain resilience, and enhancing logistics integration between the two regions.

Speaking during the visit, H.E. Lootah reaffirmed Dubai Chambers’ commitment to building strong partnerships with key international markets. He highlighted that improving trade flows and logistics connectivity will open new avenues for economic cooperation while reinforcing the stability of bilateral trade relations.

This visit is part of Dubai Chambers’ broader strategy to expand global trade partnerships, create impactful business engagement channels, and strengthen connections between Dubai’s private sector and international markets. The initiative also aims to enhance economic resilience and ensure readiness to adapt to evolving global challenges.
