Abu Dhabi: ADNOC Gas plc has announced shareholder approval of all agenda items during its Annual General Meeting (AGM), including a record dividend of $3.584 billion for 2025. The company confirmed that a final dividend of $896 million will be distributed in May 2026.

Strong Financial Performance in 2025

ADNOC Gas delivered record net income of $5.2 billion in 2025, despite a 14% decline in average Brent crude prices, which stood at $69 per barrel. This performance highlights the company’s resilient business model and strong domestic gas portfolio.

The domestic gas segment recorded 10% year-on-year growth in EBITDA, driven by:

  • A 4% increase in sales volumes

  • Improved commercial agreements

Strategic Growth and Market Expansion

The company strengthened its position in global capital markets by completing the largest secondary share offering in UAE and ADX history, raising $2.84 billion through the sale of 3.1 billion shares.

Following this milestone, ADNOC Gas was included in:

  • MSCI Emerging Markets Index

  • FTSE Emerging Index

This inclusion attracted over $750 million in passive investment inflows, further diversifying its global investor base.

Dividend Policy and Future Outlook

ADNOC Gas has set an ambitious dividend target of $24.4 billion between 2025 and 2030, supported by a policy of 5% annual dividend growth.

In a move to enhance shareholder returns, the company transitioned to quarterly dividend payments starting Q3 2025, ensuring more consistent and visible payouts.

The total dividend for 2025 includes:

  • $1.792 billion interim dividend (September 2025)

  • $896 million quarterly dividend (December 2025)

  • $896 million final dividend (May 2026)

Habshan Incident Update

The company also confirmed an incident at its Habshan gas processing complex, caused by falling debris following a successful air defense interception.

Tragically, one contractor lost their life, while several others were injured during evacuation. ADNOC Gas stated that:

  • The affected area has been secured and isolated

  • Gas supply remains uninterrupted through other facilities

  • A full damage assessment is ongoing

Chairman Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber extended condolences to the victim’s family and wished the injured a swift recovery.

Leadership Statement

Dr Al Jaber highlighted that ADNOC Gas achieved record results amid a rapidly evolving global energy landscape, driven by rising electricity demand, industrial growth, and AI-driven technologies.

He emphasized that natural gas remains critical for economic development and digital infrastructure, positioning ADNOC Gas as a reliable and cost-effective energy supplier for both UAE and international markets.
