Abu Dhabi: ADNOC Gas plc has announced shareholder approval of all agenda items during its Annual General Meeting (AGM), including a record dividend of $3.584 billion for 2025. The company confirmed that a final dividend of $896 million will be distributed in May 2026.
Strong Financial Performance in 2025
ADNOC Gas delivered record net income of $5.2 billion in 2025, despite a 14% decline in average Brent crude prices, which stood at $69 per barrel. This performance highlights the company’s resilient business model and strong domestic gas portfolio.
The domestic gas segment recorded 10% year-on-year growth in EBITDA, driven by:
A 4% increase in sales volumes
Improved commercial agreements
Strategic Growth and Market Expansion
The company strengthened its position in global capital markets by completing the largest secondary share offering in UAE and ADX history, raising $2.84 billion through the sale of 3.1 billion shares.

MSCI Emerging Markets Index
FTSE Emerging Index
This inclusion attracted over $750 million in passive investment inflows, further diversifying its global investor base.
Dividend Policy and Future Outlook
ADNOC Gas has set an ambitious dividend target of $24.4 billion between 2025 and 2030, supported by a policy of 5% annual dividend growth.
In a move to enhance shareholder returns, the company transitioned to quarterly dividend payments starting Q3 2025, ensuring more consistent and visible payouts.
The total dividend for 2025 includes:
$1.792 billion interim dividend (September 2025)
$896 million quarterly dividend (December 2025)
$896 million final dividend (May 2026)
Habshan Incident Update
The company also confirmed an incident at its Habshan gas processing complex, caused by falling debris following a successful air defense interception.
Tragically, one contractor lost their life, while several others were injured during evacuation. ADNOC Gas stated that:
The affected area has been secured and isolated
Gas supply remains uninterrupted through other facilities
A full damage assessment is ongoing
Chairman Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber extended condolences to the victim’s family and wished the injured a swift recovery.

Dr Al Jaber highlighted that ADNOC Gas achieved record results amid a rapidly evolving global energy landscape, driven by rising electricity demand, industrial growth, and AI-driven technologies.
He emphasized that natural gas remains critical for economic development and digital infrastructure, positioning ADNOC Gas as a reliable and cost-effective energy supplier for both UAE and international markets.
