The first edition of a diabetes-focused hackathon has been officially launched as part of the Third International Conference of Endocrinology and Diabetes in Al-Baha, hosted at King Fahad Hospital under the Al-Baha Health Cluster.
The launch event was attended by the CEO of Al-Baha Health Cluster, Dr. Ali Al Mansour, and the Director General of the Ministry of Health branch in Al-Baha, Naif Al-Matrafi. The gathering also included a distinguished group of physicians, researchers, and healthcare specialists from across Saudi Arabia and international institutions.
This innovative hackathon aims to encourage creative thinking and accelerate the development of advanced technological and scientific solutions to improve the quality of life for people living with diabetes. It also seeks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare services provided to patients.
The broader conference serves as a vital platform for knowledge exchange, bringing together experts to share insights, promote scientific research, and strengthen collaboration within the medical community. Additionally, it focuses on raising public health awareness and supporting ongoing efforts to advance the healthcare sector.
Through such initiatives, Al-Baha continues to position itself as a hub for medical innovation, contributing to improved healthcare outcomes and a better quality of life for patients.
