Abu Dhabi: The UAE has strongly denounced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent proposal suggesting the UAE's involvement in a civil administration for the Gaza Strip, which remains under Israeli occupation.
In a firm rebuke, the UAE emphasized that Netanyahu lacks the legitimacy to propose such measures and categorically rejects any initiative aimed at legitimizing Israel's presence in Gaza.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, reiterated the UAE's unwavering commitment to supporting a Palestinian government that authentically represents the aspirations of the Palestinian people. Such a government, Sheikh Abdullah emphasized, must uphold principles of integrity, competence, and independence.
Furthermore, Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the UAE's readiness to extend comprehensive support to a Palestinian government that aligns with the genuine aspirations of its people, standing firm in its dedication to the Palestinian cause.
