Topgolf Yas Island Abu Dhabi Set to Open in 2026

Miral, Abu Dhabi’s leading developer of immersive destinations, has announced that Topgolf will open on Yas Island, adding another major attraction to the island’s growing leisure and entertainment portfolio. The project is currently under construction and has reached 28 per cent completion, with an expected opening in 2026.

Topgolf Yas Island, Abu Dhabi is being developed by Miral in partnership with Viya, an authorised franchise partner of Topgolf. The venue will feature a multi-tier driving range and entertainment complex covering around 6,500 square metres of Gross Floor Area, along with a 19,000 square metre outfield driving range.

The facility will include 82 climate-controlled hitting bays, including eight VIP bays, designed for both beginners and experienced players. The outfield will be equipped with TopTracer technology, allowing players to track their shots and performance in real time.

The three-level complex will offer a wide range of attractions. The ground floor will include a VR hitting bay, direct access to practice and training areas, lounge seating, an event lawn, and a dedicated Pro Shop for golf equipment. The upper floors will feature dining options such as a sports lounge and sky lounge with outdoor terraces, an arcade zone, and a flexible event space that can be customised for different occasions.

Jonathan Brown, Chief Portfolio Officer at Miral, said the project reflects Miral’s commitment to strengthening Yas Island’s position as a global entertainment destination, offering innovative experiences for visitors of all skill levels.

Christopher May, Chief Executive Officer of Viya, said the new venue builds on the success of Topgolf Dubai, which has welcomed over 2.7 million guests and received more than 29 industry awards in five years.

The new Topgolf venue will further enhance Abu Dhabi’s sports and entertainment landscape and join Miral’s existing attractions on Yas Island, including Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, Yas Waterworld, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, CLYMB, Yas Marina, as well as Yas Links Abu Dhabi and Yas Acres Golf and Country Club.
