Siddhanth Kapoor, brother of Bollywood actor Shraddha Kapoor, has been summoned by the Mumbai Police in connection with a ₹252 crore drug seizure case. He is required to appear on November 25 to record his statement.
Earlier, Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry, was summoned but failed to appear and requested additional time. Both Siddhanth and Orry were identified by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Ghatkopar during the interrogation of Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, the key accused in the case.
Neither Siddhanth nor Shraddha Kapoor has made any public statements on the matter. Siddhanth was previously detained in Bengaluru in 2022 on charges of drug consumption.
Police sources revealed that Shaikh, during his interrogation, admitted to organizing lavish parties in Dubai and Mumbai allegedly attended by several high-profile figures, including Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhanth Kapoor, filmmakers Abbas–Mustan, rapper Loka, Orry, and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique.
Orry has requested time until November 25 and sent his lawyer in response to the summons. He was recently seen attending Travis Scott’s concert in Mumbai on November 19.
The case dates back to March 2024, when authorities seized 126.14 kg of mephedrone (commonly known as MD) valued at approximately ₹252 crore from a manufacturing facility on a farm in Sangli district. Shaikh, who was deported from Dubai, confessed to organizing rave parties across India and abroad for celebrities.
