The 78th Cannes Film Festival has just started, and many celebrities have already amazed everyone with their beautiful and unique outfits on the red carpet. One of the most talked-about stars was Parul Gulati, the founder of a hair extension brand. She surprised everyone by wearing a dress made entirely from braided hair, which took more than a month to create. Let’s look at the details of her amazing outfit!
Parul Gulati is known for her creative ways to promote her brand, but this time she went even further. In an interview with HT Lifestyle, the actress shared that her dress was completely her own creation. The dress was made only from braided hair. It had a special hem that looked like fringes, a deep sweetheart neckline, and no straps. The top part of the dress fit closely to her body, and the lower part hung loosely. This dress showed a new level of fashion creativity—something no one expected.

For her hairstyle, Parul styled her own hair in a smooth bun with some extra volume at the top. She let a few strands fall in front to frame her face nicely. To complete her Cannes look, she wore big, eye-catching earrings. She kept her accessories simple so that everyone’s attention stayed on her amazing dress.
Her makeup was perfect too. She had a glowing and fresh-looking skin base. Her eyes had a little bit of shiny eyeshadow, her eyelashes were curled nicely, and she wore some blush and highlighter on her cheeks to add a healthy shine. She finished her look with a soft nude lipstick. For shoes, she chose black strappy heels that matched her outfit and helped her walk gracefully.
Parul Gulati’s dress made a big impression at her first Cannes Film Festival. By choosing to wear a dress made only of braided hair instead of regular fabric, she showed how creative fashion can be. Her red carpet appearance was truly unforgettable!
