His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, recently visited the Unmanned Aerial Systems Centre (UASC) at Dubai Police General Headquarters. During his visit, he checked out the latest drone technologies that help the police work better by predicting problems and responding quickly to emergencies.

He was warmly welcomed by Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, along with his deputies Major General Ahmad Zaal bin Kreshan Al Muhairi, who handles administrative and financial matters, and Major General Hareb Al Shamsi, in charge of criminal investigations. Several senior officers and officials were also present.

His Highness praised Dubai Police for their hard work and their dedication to using the best methods and newest technology. He said that their efforts help the police work faster and smarter to keep everyone safe—residents, visitors, and citizens alike. He also said that their work supports Dubai’s goal to be the best city in the world to live, work, and visit.

During the visit, Sheikh Mansoor learned how the UASC is ready to handle traffic and crime reports. He was told about the smart systems they use to predict and prevent crimes before they happen. He also saw how the police work closely with different departments and police stations across Dubai to keep the city safe. His Highness was happy to hear about the teamwork between the police and other partners to help make Dubai one of the safest cities in the world.

Sheikh Mansoor toured the UASC operations room, where he saw the “Drone Box” system. This system helps the police send drones quickly to places where incidents happen. The drones send live information to the police command center, which helps them respond much faster. He also saw other systems, such as those that watch for unauthorized drones, and special equipment used for field missions and tactical operations.

At the end of the visit, Sheikh Mansoor took a group photo with the team at the UASC to remember the occasion.
