The highly anticipated trailer for Michael, a biographical drama chronicling the life of the legendary pop star Michael Jackson, has finally been released. Directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan, the film promises a compelling look at the artist who revolutionized music and dance.
Jaafar Jackson Brings Michael to Life
Jaafar Jackson, Michael’s nephew, delivers a striking and emotionally charged portrayal of the global icon. The trailer showcases his remarkable dance moves alongside the recreated iconic performances that made Michael Jackson a household name.
The cast also includes Miles Teller, Larenz Tate, and Laura Harrier in pivotal roles, adding depth to the storytelling.
Originally slated for October 3, 2025, the film’s release has been moved to April 24, 2026. Produced by Graham King, John Branca, and John McClain, with David B. Householter as executive producer, the movie promises to be a cinematic tribute to a musical legend whose influence endures globally.
The trailer begins with a stirring note: “I know you have been waiting a long time for this,” setting the stage for a cinematic journey through Jackson’s meteoric rise, creative genius, and lasting legacy. Fans are treated to spectacular recreations of his most famous performances—from the moonwalk to other iconic dance moments—paired with a tagline that reads: “Honour your past and embrace the future.”
