A new analysis by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce has revealed that Indian-owned businesses remained the largest group of new foreign companies joining the chamber in 2025.
During the year, 18,486 new Indian companies became members, showing 11% year-over-year (YoY) growth. The figures highlight Dubai’s strong position as a key business destination for Indian investors and entrepreneurs.
Pakistan ranked second, with 9,138 new companies registered in 2025, marking a 12% increase compared to 2024. Egypt secured third place with 5,043 new companies joining the chamber.
The United Kingdom ranked fourth, with 2,733 new companies, recording 5% YoY growth. Bangladesh was fifth, with 2,721 new companies, showing a strong 15% YoY increase.
Other countries in the top 10 included:
Syria (6th): 1,907 new companies
China (7th): 1,583 new companies (7% YoY growth)
Jordan (8th): 1,325 new companies
Türkiye (9th): 1,308 new companies
United States (10th): 1,054 new companies
Overall, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce recorded 71,830 new companies joining in 2025. As a result, the chamber’s active membership rose to 292,486 by the end of 2025, compared to 258,318 in 2024, reflecting annual growth of 13.2%.
Sector-Wise Distribution of New Members (2025)
The analysis also highlighted the key sectors attracting new members in 2025:
Real Estate, Renting, and Business Services ranked first, accounting for 37.6% of new member activity.
Wholesale and Retail Trade came second with 34.5%.
Construction ranked third at 17.2%.
Social and Personal Services stood fourth with 7.9%.
Transport, Storage, and Communications ranked fifth with 7.2%.
The report shows that Dubai continues to attract international companies across major business sectors, with strong growth in new memberships during 2025.
