Dubai Welcomes Russia’s Largest Plastic Surgery Team

Dubai has further strengthened its position as a global medical and wellness destination with the arrival of Russia’s largest plastic surgery team, which has officially established its new regional hub at Fayy Health, Dubai’s leading centre for holistic health and aesthetic excellence.

The move marks a significant milestone for the UAE’s healthcare landscape, introducing advanced plastic and reconstructive surgical expertise supported by international standards, cutting-edge techniques, and decades of clinical experience. The team’s presence is expected to elevate the quality of aesthetic care available in the region, catering to both local and international patients seeking world-class outcomes.

The team is led by Dr Dmitry Melnikov, one of the first Russian plastic surgeons to be licensed in Dubai since 2022. Dr Melnikov is a highly respected plastic and reconstructive breast surgeon, recognised by Tatler magazine as one of the top surgeons in his field. His clientele includes several of Russia’s top social media influencers, reflecting his reputation for precision, safety, and aesthetic excellence.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Melnikov serves as Vice Secretary of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS) and is an active member of the World Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery, reinforcing his global standing within the surgical community.

Prior to relocating to Dubai, Dr Melnikov headed the Centre of Plastic Surgery at the Institute of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology, Europe’s largest hospital dedicated to plastic and reconstructive surgery. His team previously represented Russia’s largest plastic surgery unit, handling complex procedures at the highest level of care.

The multidisciplinary team includes Dr Alexander Glushko, a renowned nose and facial surgeon with both an MD and PhD, and more than ten years of experience in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr Glushko has authored over 100 scientific publications, holds multiple medical patents, and is a regular international speaker and educator. His surgical philosophy is built around five key principles: Purpose, Balance, Safety, Approach, and Trust.

Other notable specialists include Dr Simon Ivanov, who focuses on facelifts, endoscopic facial procedures, and breast and body contouring surgeries, as well as Dr Anna Brodska, an expert in liposuction, fat grafting, and Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedures, trained in Brazil and known for her refined body-sculpting techniques.
