This surprise performance came just after Martin made a special appearance at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival, showcasing his knack for spontaneity. The karaoke bar patrons were treated to a memorable moment when a disguised Martin, holding a balloon, unexpectedly stepped up to sing a track from Coldplay's highly anticipated upcoming album, *Moon Music*, which is set to be released on October 4.
The fun was captured on video, quickly garnering attention from fans. In the comments, one user expressed their envy, stating, “I wish I was there! The voice of Chris is absolutely unique! Earlier that day, Coldplay also made headlines by announcing the Asia dates for their highly anticipated *Music of the Spheres World Tour*. The band is scheduled to perform three shows at DY Patil Sports Stadium in Mumbai on January 18 and 19, along with an additional performance on January 21, 2025. When tickets went on sale at noon on Sunday, fans rushed to the BookMyShow website and app, hoping to secure one of the 150,000 available tickets, with each concert accommodating 50,000 attendees. The demand was so overwhelming that the tickets sold out within minutes.
The Music of the Spheres World Tour, which began following an announcement on October 14, 2021, aims to promote Coldplay's ninth and tenth studio albums, *Music of the Spheres (2021) and Moon Music (2024). This tour marks the band's return to live performances after the COVID-19 pandemic, as they had previously opted not to tour for their 2019 album, Everyday Life, due to environmental concerns.
