The K-pop sensation BTS has officially revealed plans for an extensive 79-date world tour, marking their eagerly awaited return to live performances after a four-year hiatus. This announcement has ignited enthusiasm among fans globally, as it signifies the group’s complete reunion and a fresh chapter in their journey.
The tour will commence with three consecutive shows at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, starting on April 9, 2026. Following this, BTS will tour throughout Asia, Europe, and North America, touching down in some of the largest music markets around the globe. Key cities on the itinerary include London, Tokyo, Munich, Sydney, and Los Angeles, showcasing the tour's ambitious scale. With nearly 80 performances scheduled, it's anticipated to be one of the most significant and discussed tours of the year.
This will also be BTS’s first series of performances outside South Korea and the US since 2019. Their last world tour was a remarkable achievement, setting records within the K-pop industry and accumulating around $246 million worldwide. During that tour, BTS became the first Korean act to headline the legendary Wembley Stadium in London, solidifying their status as global music icons.
Fans can look forward to a dynamic 360-degree stage design that will enhance the viewing experience, allowing audiences to see BTS from every angle. This arrangement will also boost seating capacity, enabling more fans to participate. In the UK, the group is set to perform two shows at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on July 6 and 7, with the European segment featuring stops in Paris, Madrid, Brussels, and Munich.
The band has teased that more dates may be confirmed later for Japan, the Middle East, and other locations in 2027. Ticket sales for fan club members will begin on January 22, with general ticket sales launching two days afterward. Industry projections estimate that the tour could yield over $1 billion in revenue through concert ticket sales, merchandise, and music sales, underscoring BTS’s unparalleled global prominence.
