Another engaging session, 'Platforms Driven by Youth,' showcased successful experiences of digital platform founders, including Bader Almadaifa, CEO of the 5osh Fikra platform. Almadaifa shared insights into his platform's success in attracting regional audiences while addressing the challenges faced by digital platforms, such as ensuring financial sustainability.
The forum also addressed pressing issues like the adverse effects of social media, with TV presenter Lojain Omran shedding light on issues like bullying and prejudices. In the session titled 'Influencer Survival Kit,' Omran emphasized the need to combat negative comments and prejudices, particularly against women, on social media platforms.
Moreover, sessions like 'From Influencer to Entrepreneur' explored how social media has contributed to the success of businesses, with entrepreneurs Fouz Al Fahad and Karen Wazen sharing their insights. They highlighted the role of social media as valuable analytical tools for measuring marketing performance.
Other sessions, such as 'Influencers to Podcasters' and 'Future of Gaming in the Region,' delved into the learning opportunities provided by podcasts and the potential of the gaming sector in the region. Additionally, Mohammed Saeed Harib, creator of the popular Emirati cartoon 'Freej,' shared behind-the-scenes details of the show's journey and its partnership with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre.
