Archana Puran Singh’s family vlogs on YouTube, titled AAAP Ka Parivaar, have garnered a huge fan base. Alongside Archana, her husband and actor Parmeet Sethi, their sons Aayushmann and Aaryamann, and Aaryamann’s fiancée, Yogita Bihani, feature regularly in the videos.
Recently, Parmeet Sethi discussed the potential of turning vlogging into a full-time career. In an interview, he revealed that the family could earn “at least three times more than what films and television together pay us” if they pursued it professionally. He added, “You’re offering your entire life for people to see – and that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. You need to be shameless, careless, and fearless. People’s reactions can start affecting you. We are like a life insurance company YouTube keeps paying us the premium throughout our lives.”
Sethi also highlighted the pros and cons of vlogging. While it allows them complete freedom of expression and the ability to be their authentic selves, it also exposes their personal lives to public scrutiny and trolling.
On a personal note, Parmeet Sethi spoke candidly about their early married life. He revealed that during their early years together, they kept their marriage under wraps because married actresses were rarely offered work. He said, “It was long before DDLJ. We did not announce it to the world because actresses were not offered work if they got married. When Archana was pregnant with Aaryamann, we announced our marriage.” Despite industry awareness of their relationship, the official confirmation came only after Archana’s pregnancy.
