Dubai, United Arab Emirates –
SpeakUp, the Dubai-launched AI-powered speaker and talent matching platform, delivered one of the most talked-about moments of the season on OSN’s The Final Pitch Dubai — the regional adaptation of Shark Tank. In the finale episode aired on 15 December 2025, SpeakUp stood out as the only startup of the season to receive a direct investment offer live on air, with an investor–judge presenting the founders a SAFE agreement during the broadcast.
Following the pitch, several judges openly remarked that SpeakUp demonstrated strong unicorn potential, highlighting its rapid adoption, scalable business model, and the sheer size of the market it aims to transform across the MENA region and beyond.
Launched in April 2025 in Dubai, SpeakUp was created to solve one of the most persistent inefficiencies in the events, media, and digital production industries: the lack of a unified platform where organisers can seamlessly source, communicate with, and book speakers and talent.
Traditionally, event organisers rely on fragmented workflows — WhatsApp groups, manual outreach, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools. SpeakUp replaces this complexity with a single AI-driven workflow, enabling:
Organisers to publish speaker requests or event listings directly in the app
Speakers to apply with a single click
All applications to appear in a centralised dashboard
Direct communication via integrated in-app chat
Seamless confirmation and scheduling through a built-in calendar system
Beyond talent matching, SpeakUp introduces the Growth Marketplace — a curated ecosystem offering discounted access to verified partners, including podcast studios, conference venues, photographers, videographers, editors, PR agencies, and other production services. This positions SpeakUp not just as a matching tool, but as a complete operational layer for events, media production, and content teams across MENA.
Since filming concluded in May 2025, SpeakUp has experienced rapid expansion, emerging as one of the fastest-growing event-tech platforms in the region. Following its television appearance, the startup also secured additional backing from a Dubai-based venture fund through direct post-show negotiations.
Today, leading investors in the UAE and UK estimate SpeakUp’s valuation at $50–60 million, driven by its accelerating adoption curve, market relevance, and expanding international footprint. The platform has surpassed 60,000 app downloads, 41,000 registered users, and facilitated over 1,300 successful speaker bookings across 30+ countries.
As a new-generation AI matching platform redefining digital-talent infrastructure in MENA, SpeakUp is only beginning its broader impact on how events and media collaborations are built.
SpeakUp is available on iOS and Android, enabling seamless speaker discovery, communication, and booking — all in one platform.
