His Excellency Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani, the Undersecretary of DCT Abu Dhabi, said that Abu Dhabi is quickly becoming the main place for basketball in the Middle East. He also mentioned that the city is ready to welcome fans and offer them a great experience. Along with the games, fans will also be able to enjoy many other attractions around the city.
Dejan Bodiroga, President of EuroLeague Basketball, also shared his excitement. He thanked Abu Dhabi for hosting the event and said that bringing the Final Four to the city is a great chance to show EuroLeague basketball to more people. He added that this partnership will offer EuroLeague fans a new and exciting experience in a modern city.
EuroLeague Basketball decided to bring the Final Four to Abu Dhabi as part of their plan to grow the sport around the world. This event will help share the EuroLeague experience with many more people, while keeping the “Every Game Matters” message.
Abu Dhabi has already hosted many big sports events like the FIFA Club World Cup and the Formula 1 Grand Prix. Basketball is also growing in popularity in the city. It has already hosted NBA games and other international basketball tournaments.
The Final Four games will take place at Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The four best teams of the season will play in the semifinals on Friday, May 23. The final and third-place games will be on Sunday, May 25. Tickets for all the games will be available from February 26, with different price options for fans.
Paulius Motiejunas, CEO of EuroLeague Basketball, said that this agreement with Abu Dhabi is a major step for the EuroLeague. He believes the partnership will help bring the best of European basketball to new audiences.

Marcus Osborne, General Manager of Etihad Arena, said that the venue is ready to give fans a fantastic experience. Etihad Arena can hold up to 12,000 people and is the perfect place for the Final Four games. Since it opened in 2021, Etihad Arena has hosted major events and concerts by famous artists.
