Residents in the UAE are advised to make the most of the pleasant morning weather on Monday, as the day is expected to bring a shift towards wet conditions. Beginning with partly cloudy skies that help maintain lower temperatures, the day will gradually transition to potentially rainy and stormy weather. According to forecasts from the Met Department, thunderstorms and heavy rain are anticipated across all Emirates as the day progresses.
The UAE's National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued alerts indicating that the day will start with occasional dustiness, which will gradually give way to increasing cloud cover. These clouds are expected to bring convective activity, leading to rainfall in various parts of the country. The weather patterns are influenced by a surface low-pressure system extending from the Southwest, coupled with the influx of a cold air mass from the West in the upper atmosphere, contributing to the formation of clouds and precipitation.
Moderate to fresh winds are predicted, with occasional strong gusts, particularly over the sea. The presence of cloud activity may agitate blowing dust and sand, resulting in reduced horizontal visibility in certain areas. Sea conditions are initially forecasted as moderate, but they may deteriorate into rough conditions, especially in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea, due to the impact of cloud activity.
Overall, residents are advised to stay updated on weather alerts and take necessary precautions to ensure safety during potentially inclement weather conditions. From enjoying the pleasant morning to preparing for potential thunderstorms and heavy rain later in the day, residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and prepared for any changes in weather conditions. By staying informed and taking proactive measures, individuals can mitigate risks and stay safe amidst the dynamic weather patterns experienced in the UAE.
