Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi attends Xposure International closing

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, attended the closing ceremony of Xposure International Photography Festival 2025. The festival was held at Aljada, Sharjah, from February 20 to 26. It brought together photographers, filmmakers, and artists from all over the world. More than 30,000 people attended the event, making it one of the biggest photography festivals in the world.

His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of the, spoke at the ceremony. He said that Xposure is no longer just about photography. It now includes films and documentaries, making it a place for people to share ideas and creativity. He thanked Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi for leading the festival for nine years and helping it grow into a world-famous event.

A special film was shown at the ceremony, giving a look behind the scenes of Xposure 2025. It showed the hard work of the organizers and the best moments of the festival. After the film, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi honored photographers, filmmakers, and artists for their outstanding work. He also thanked photography associations, festival partners, and sponsors for their support.

One of the biggest announcements at the festival was a new award for AI-generated photography. This is the first time Xposure has included this category, showing how technology is changing the world of photography.

The festival also hosted the 4th Environmental Summit, where famous environmental photographers and journalists shared their work. They focused on important issues like climate change, wildlife protection, and nature conservation.

More than 2,500 powerful images from 300 photographers were displayed at the festival. Visitors attended workshops, photography talks, and masterclasses to learn new skills. Documentary films were also shown, bringing real-life stories to the audience. A special section displayed the latest cameras and photography equipment.

This year, Xposure took place in an open-air setting at Aljada, making it more interactive and enjoyable for visitors. Many important guests attended the closing ceremony, including Sheikh Saud bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi and Khalid Jasim Al Midfa.

As Xposure 2025 ended, it left a strong impact on photography and art. The festival has become a place where creative people from around the world come together, learn, and share their work. It continues to inspire photographers and artists everywhere.
