One of the significant highlights of the visit was the official launch of the "Influencer Room" initiative by Sharjah Media City (Shams). This program aims to develop influencers and integrate them into the social media landscape through targeted training workshops. The initiative seeks to empower influencers with the skills needed to provide promotional services to companies and organizations, focusing on nurturing young talents and creatives across social media platforms.

The IGCF agenda centered around five key themes:

  1. The Impact of Government Communication on Economic Resilience
  2. Communication and Adventure Tourism to Boost the Tourism Economy
  3. The Role of Effective Communication in Attracting Talent as a Key National Asset
  4. The Future of Government Communication in a Virtual World
  5. Communication and Multidimensional Personal Interaction

The forum underscored the importance of innovative communication as governments worldwide strive for resilient governance and explore future opportunities. By leveraging technological solutions, the IGCF aims to support global efforts in addressing shared challenges, advancing sustainable development, and enhancing economic resilience, food security, and environmental sustainability.

Accompanying Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi on his tour were HE Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority; HE Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau; HE Hassan Yaqoub Al Mansouri, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Media Council; and several representatives from local, regional, and international media outlets.
