Sheikh Hamdan gave instructions to make sure that everything needed for these projects is provided, so they can be finished on time and help both the people living on Dalma Island and visitors to the island.
As part of his visit, His Highness also launched two new ferries, named Dalma and Al Dhanna. These ferries are designed to carry 193 passengers and 25 vehicles each. The new ferries will cut down travel time to just 40 minutes, making it easier and faster for people to travel to and from the island. This will also improve the island's connection to other parts of the region by sea.
