Miley Cyrus made a bold change to her hairstyle between the Oscars and the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, and fans couldn’t help but notice. The 32-year-old singer first stepped onto the red carpet at the Oscars on Sunday in a stunning custom-made black glitter gown by Alexander McQueen. The dress had a sheer skirt and a halter neckline, which she paired with black lace gloves and silver diamond earrings. Her brown hair was styled in soft waves with blonde highlights, and she even debuted bleached eyebrows, adding an edgy touch to her look.

After presenting the award for Best Sound with actor Miles Teller, Miley attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. But when she arrived at the after-party, fans were shocked to see her new hairstyle. She revealed a dramatic change: micro bangs! Her hair was straightened and styled into a sleek high ponytail, giving her a completely different look from earlier in the evening.

For the after-party, Miley wore another custom-designed outfit, a black strapless gown by Maison Margiela. She matched it with a black handbag and added silver hoop earrings and a silver ring to complete her look. Miley also posed for pictures with her boyfriend, Maxx Morando, who looked sharp in a classic black suit with a white shirt and white sneakers.

Miley’s hairstylist, Bob Recine, later confirmed to People magazine that he had trimmed her bangs just before the Vanity Fair party. He explained that her Oscars hairstyle, which featured voluminous waves, was inspired by the iconic fictional character Jessica Rabbit. Bob said, “I loved her approach to the Oscar this year, keeping it youthful and fun while still maintaining that classic Hollywood glam.”

The Vanity Fair Oscar Party was full of standout celebrity looks. Olivia Wilde wore a sheer gown with a plunging neckline, showing off her naked figure underneath. Julia Fox sported a transparent mesh dress with faux hair details by Turkish designer Dilara Findikoglu. Catherine O'Hara also caught attention with her colorful, woven dress, which she paired with a pink satin clutch.
