Manchester City now has 52 points and is in 5th place. They are just one point behind Chelsea. Manchester United is in 13th place with 38 points.

In the first half, both teams played slowly. There were no good chances to score. The sun was shining at Old Trafford, but the match was boring.

After the break, the game got a little better. City’s player Omar Marmoush kicked the ball hard from far away. United’s goalie Andre Onana made a great save.

Later, Joshua Zirkzee had a chance for United. He turned and hit the ball well, but City’s goalie Ederson saved it with both hands.

After the match, many football experts said the game was not exciting.

Gary Neville, a former United player, said, “It looks like both teams are okay with a 0-0 draw. It’s like they’re going out for lunch after this.”

Roy Keane, another old United player, said, “A draw is not good. You don’t move up in the table with a draw. This is not good enough.”

United’s coach Ruben Amorim smiled when he heard these words. He said, “I know Gary Neville always complains. We are having a very bad season. Even City, who won many things before, are not playing well this time.”

He also said, “When teams are not fighting for top spots, the games don’t feel the same. Gary and Roy played in great teams, so they see things differently.”

There was also some bad behavior from the fans. United fans said rude things to Phil Foden, a City player. City’s coach Pep Guardiola was not happy about that. But he is not too worried about the future.

“We have 8 games left,” Guardiola said. “Next, we play Crystal Palace. We will try our best. Of course, I wish we had more points, but we will keep going.”

So, the big Manchester match gave us no goals, no winner, and not much fun.
