Liam Neeson is acting in a funny new movie. It is a new version of The Naked Gun, a film that was very famous many years ago. In the old movies, a man named Leslie Nielsen played a silly police officer named Frank Drebin. Now, Liam Neeson is playing Frank Drebin’s son, named Frank Drebin Jr.

A short video (trailer) of the movie is out now. In the video, Liam’s character uses a sharp lollipop to stop a bad man. It is very silly and funny — just like the old Naked Gun movies. People loved those movies because of this kind of crazy and fun action.
This new movie is made by Akiva Schaffer. It is also made by Seth MacFarlane, who is known for making funny shows. Other actors in the movie include Pamela Anderson and Danny Huston.
Liam Neeson is now 72 years old. Long ago, he was in a very serious movie called Schindler’s List, and he was even chosen for a big film award (Oscar) in 1993. Later, he became very famous for the Taken movies, where he played a strong action hero. Now, he is doing comedy again in this film.
This new Naked Gun movie will come to theatres in August. People who love silly and funny movies will enjoy it.
