The Xposure International Photography Festival will happen from February 20 to 26, 2025, at Aljada, Sharjah. It is organized by the. The festival brings together experts, creative people, and famous storytellers to celebrate photography and films. This year, the festival will also focus on filmmaking because movies are a powerful way to tell stories. There will be movie shows, talks, and workshops where people can learn more about films. Both new and experienced filmmakers will get a chance to meet and learn from top people in the industry.

The film industry is growing fast, and more people watch movies online than ever before. In 2025, movie earnings are expected to reach $43.27 billion, and 70% of people will watch films on digital platforms. Xposure 2025 will give filmmakers and movie lovers a chance to meet famous film experts and understand how movies shape the world.
Glenn Gainor, the Head of Physical Production at Amazon MGM Studios, will share his knowledge. He manages money, time, and plans for making films and TV shows. He will give a talk called "Sustainability & Cross-Cultural Filmmaking," where he will show how films can teach people about saving the environment in an interesting way.
Franklin Leonard is another big name at the festival. He started The Black List, a famous platform that helps unknown film writers get noticed. Many great films came from this list, and it has helped new writers get a chance in Hollywood.
Oscar-winning director Martin Desmond Roe will also join the festival. He made the short film "Two Distant Strangers," which won an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film. This movie talks about racism and problems with the police. He also started Dirty Robber, a company that makes films with strong messages. His co-director, Travon Free, is another Oscar-winning filmmaker who tells stories about social justice and important problems in society.
Pippa Ehrlich and Roger Horrocks, who made the Academy Award-winning documentary "My Octopus Teacher," will also be part of Xposure 2025. Their film tells the beautiful story of a filmmaker who forms a bond with an octopus in a South African sea forest. It is loved for its deep emotions and amazing visuals.
Famous travel filmmaker Dennis Schmelz will also be there. He is known for making beautiful films about different cultures and places around the world. His films make people feel like they are traveling to new lands.
Rick Smolan is another well-known name at the festival. He is a filmmaker and photographer best known for "Tracks," a movie about a woman’s long journey across the Australian desert. His films show inspiring human stories and adventures.
Jerome Pin, a documentary filmmaker, will also be part of the festival. He makes films about big world problems. His films help people understand serious issues and bring attention to things that need change.
