His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and leader of the UAE Armed Forces, attended the Union Fortress 10 military parade in Al Ain. The event took place at Al Ain International Airport and was led by His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who represents the ruler in the Al Ain region. The theme of the parade was Pride and Loyalty, Pledge and Allegiance, Security and Prosperity.

Sheikh Hazza praised the UAE military for their training, modern tools, and strong skills. He spoke about how important the armed forces are to protect the UAE and its progress. Sheikh Hazza also mentioned how much Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed values the military as the main protector of the country.
Sheikh Hazza added that under Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed's leadership, the UAE Armed Forces have become stronger and better. He said the military is a great example of teamwork and success.
Many important leaders and officials attended the parade. They included Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior), Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who leads Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination.
Also present was Lieutenant General Engineer Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, and many other senior officials and military leaders.
The parade showed many military exercises and drills. These included quick-response tests, electronic war drills, parachute jumps, and bomb disposal with robots.
Different military groups took part in the show, including the UAE Land Forces, Air Force, Air Defence, Presidential Guard, National Guard, and Abu Dhabi Police. They performed teamwork drills to show they are ready to defend the UAE at any moment.
The parade also showed advanced military vehicles like the Rabdan infantry fighting vehicle and the G6 self-propelled howitzer. Many military aircraft participated in the show, including the CH-47 Chinook, Black Hawk helicopters, Apache attack helicopters, F-16 fighter jets, and Mirage 2000 fighter jets. These planes and helicopters performed air drills, airstrikes, and other important military operations.
The Union Fortress parade started in 2017 in Abu Dhabi and has since been held in different parts of the UAE. Some of these locations include Sharjah, Al Ain, Fujairah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Expo 2020 Dubai, and Yas Island. This marks the 10th time the event has been held, and this year it returned to Al Ain.
The Union Fortress 10 showed the UAE's military strength, modern tools, and teamwork. It reminded everyone of the important role the armed forces play in protecting the UAE and its citizens.
This military parade sent a strong message about peace, safety, and progress. It showed how much the UAE Armed Forces care for the security of the country and its people.
