In a poignant display of reverence and solidarity, a distinguished gathering of Their Highnesses Sheikhs and a multitude of people gathered today at the Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed The First Mosque in Abu Dhabi to participate in the funeral prayer for the late Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This solemn occasion, marked by a sense of mourning and reflection, drew together individuals from various echelons of society to pay their respects to the departed soul.
Among the esteemed attendees were notable figures including H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; H.H. Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; and H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation. Their presence underscored the significance of the moment and served as a testament to the deep regard and esteem in which Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan was held.

During the funeral prayer, heartfelt supplications were offered to Allah Almighty, beseeching His mercy and forgiveness upon the departed soul. Mourners prayed for Sheikh Hazza's peaceful rest in Paradise and for strength and fortitude to be granted to his family during this period of bereavement.
Following the conclusion of the funeral prayer, the body of the deceased was reverently laid to rest at the Al Bateen cemetery in Abu Dhabi, marking the final journey of Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan. As the sun set on the horizon, a sense of solemnity permeated the air, serving as a poignant reminder of the transient nature of life and the enduring legacy left behind by Sheikh Hazza.
The outpouring of support and solidarity witnessed at the funeral prayer served as a testament to the profound impact and indelible mark left by Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the hearts and minds of those who knew him.
