Beth Behrs says she and Kat Dennings never got to say goodbye to show

Beth Behrs, the actress who played Caroline Channing in the TV show 2 Broke Girls, recently spoke about how sad she felt when the show ended suddenly. She said that she and her co-star, Kat Dennings, never got a chance to say goodbye to their characters or finish the story properly.

Behrs, who is now 39 years old, became famous for her role in 2 Broke Girls. The show was very popular and even got 12 Emmy Award nominations, winning one in 2012 for art direction. It aired for six seasons before being canceled in 2017. Many fans were shocked when the show ended without a proper final episode. Behrs played the role of Caroline Channing, a rich girl who lost all her money after her father went to jail for a financial scam. She had to start working as a waitress to survive.

Right now, Behrs is acting in another comedy show called The Neighborhood. She recently shared that the show will begin filming its eighth and last season. Unlike 2 Broke Girls, this show will have a proper ending. Behrs is happy that she can say goodbye to her character in The Neighborhood, something she could not do in 2 Broke Girls.

She wrote on Instagram, “Most of my 20s were on 2 Broke Girls, almost all of my 30s were on The Neighborhood, and I will enter my 40s as we end this story. @katdenningsss and I never got a goodbye or a real ending to our 2 Broke Girls story, so I’m very grateful that @cbstv is giving us a chance to say goodbye to Gemma the right way.” She also thanked the cast and crew of The Neighborhood, saying that they had been through many things together, like COVID-19, strikes, and elections, but still remained strong.

Kat Dennings, who played Max Black in 2 Broke Girls, commented on Behrs’ post but did not talk about the cancellation of their old show.

Even though 2 Broke Girls ended many years ago, Behrs’ words show that she still misses it. Fans of the show also remember it with love, even as she moves forward with her career.
