Camel Owners Thank UAE President
During the opening, the camel owners shared their heartfelt gratitude to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. They said that they are very thankful to him for always supporting camel racing and for giving his directive to hold this festival in the Al Ain region. They believe that his support shows how much he cares about the Emirati culture and traditions, and they feel proud to take part in an event that their President values so much.
Sheikh Hazza’s Encouragement Appreciated

Festival Teaches Heritage to Young Generation

They learned about camels and their importance in the history of the Emirates. Teachers explained to them how camels were used by their ancestors for travel, food, and trade, and how camel racing became a sport that brings people together even today.
Traditional Food and Cultural Shows Attract Visitors
At the festival, there are also traditional Emirati food stalls, where visitors can enjoy dishes like harees, machboos, and luqaimat. There are cultural shows and music performances to entertain the audience. Some camels were decorated with colourful cloths and ornaments, and visitors clicked photos with them. These photos are being shared on social media, showing the world how the UAE celebrates its heritage with pride.
More Events Planned in Coming Days
Organisers of the Al Ain Camel Racing Festival said that the event will continue for several more days. There will be many more races, special events, and cultural programmes to entertain visitors. They hope that this festival will not only make people happy but also attract more tourists to the Al Ain region, helping the local economy.
A Celebration of UAE’s Heritage and Unity
The Al Ain Camel Racing Festival is a beautiful celebration that brings the community together. It shows the unity, strength, and rich culture of the UAE. It also reminds everyone that even though the UAE is a modern country with tall buildings and advanced technology, it never forgets its roots and traditions. Thanks to the care and support of leaders like President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, such traditional events continue to thrive, keeping the Emirati spirit strong for future generations to see, learn, and cherish.
