An FIR has been filed against Bigg Boss fame and actor Ajaz Khan for circulating fake news and objectionable content on social media. The case was registered at the Crime Branch in Indore.

Rajesh Dandotiya, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Indore), Crime Branch, confirmed that Ajaz Khan was summoned to the station after the FIR was lodged.

“An FIR was filed against actor Ajaz Khan for sharing fake news and objectionable content on social media. After the FIR was registered, he was served a notice and appeared at the station to record his statement. His mobile phone has been seized in connection with a two-month-old case. Multiple fake news stories related to the incident were circulating on social media. Thirty-two accounts were blocked, and complaints were filed against 68 accounts,” the ADCP said.

The case specifically involves claims that a video containing highly objectionable content was circulated from Ajaz Khan’s social media handle. The actor appeared at the police station and was questioned for three hours. Legal action was initiated according to due procedure.

This is not the first instance of Ajaz Khan facing legal issues over his social media activity. Earlier, an FIR was registered against him for an objectionable post targeting a YouTuber and his family. The post allegedly contained offensive, defamatory, and obscene content, including derogatory remarks, obscene gestures, and false claims.

In October this year, the Delhi High Court granted Ajaz Khan anticipatory bail. The bail conditions included furnishing a bond of Rs 30,000 and providing one surety in case of his arrest.

Authorities have emphasized that spreading fake news and offensive content on social media is being closely monitored, and legal action will continue against individuals violating the law.
