The Japanese horse named Admire Daytona won the UAE Derby race, which is for purebred thoroughbreds. This race was part of the Dubai World Cup evening 2025, the 29th edition of this famous event. The race took place today at the Meydan Racecourse, one of the best racing tracks in the world.
Admire Daytona ran a distance of 1,900 meters on a dirt track and finished the race in 1 minute and 59.13 seconds. The horse did an amazing job, beating 8 of the best horses from around the world.

This victory is special because it’s the fourth year in a row that a Japanese horse has won the UAE Derby. The race had a total prize money of $1 million, and Admire Daytona’s team received $580,000 as the winner’s reward.
But that’s not all! By winning this race, Admire Daytona also earned an official qualification for the famous Kentucky Derby, one of the biggest horse races in the world.
