Victory Team Heads to Palermo for Second Round of 2024 XCAT World Powerboat Championship

Tomorrow, Wednesday, the Victory Team delegation will depart for Palermo, Italy, to compete in the second round of the 2024 XCAT World Powerboat Championship. The event will kick off on Friday and continue through Sunday.

The delegation, dubbed the Masters of the Sea, will be led by Mohammed Abdulla Harib Al Falahi, Board Member and CEO of Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC), along with Khalid Bin Dasmal, Board Member at DIMC, and Ahmad Al Sumathi, Director of Victory Team Department at DIMC. The Victory Team drivers for this round are the talented duo Salem Al Adidi and Eisa Al Ali, supported by a skilled technical crew.

Victory Team is aiming to build on their successful performance in the first round held in Fujairah, where they accumulated a total of 65 points (30 points from the first race and 35 points from the second race), placing them at the top of the overall standings. This year, they are determined to secure their sixth World Championship title for the Dubai International Marine Club.

Salem Al Adidi and Eisa Al Ali are particularly motivated to replicate their past success. In 2017, they achieved remarkable victories with Victory Team and are now striving to reclaim the world title, which the Dubai International Marine Club previously won in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017.
