H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, warmly welcomed the President of the Republic of Botswana, Duma Gideon Boko, at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City.

The visit marked an important moment in the growing friendship between the United Arab Emirates and Botswana. It reflected how the two nations are looking to the future, not only in terms of political relations but also in building strong economic, cultural, and development ties.

A Warm Welcome in Ras Al Khaimah

The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah personally received President Boko and his delegation, expressing happiness at hosting them in the emirate. Sheikh Saud highlighted the long-standing connections that bind the UAE and Botswana and underlined the importance of working together to achieve shared goals. He stressed that the UAE values its friendship with African nations and sees Botswana as an important partner in areas of trade, investment, and sustainable development.

Discussions for Stronger Cooperation

During the official meeting, both leaders spoke about a wide range of subjects that matter to their people. Their talks mainly focused on ways to strengthen economic partnerships, encourage trade exchange, and identify new business opportunities. Both sides believe that building strong financial ties can help support long-term growth and create jobs for future generations.

The discussions also touched on important issues such as innovation, technology, tourism, and infrastructure. The two leaders expressed hope that these areas will become new bridges of cooperation between Ras Al Khaimah and Botswana.

A Step Toward Sustainable Development

One of the key points raised was the importance of sustainable development. The leaders agreed that future partnerships must not only bring economic growth but also focus on protecting the environment and ensuring resources are used wisely.
