The attack happened during a peaceful rally where people were asking for the safe return of Israeli hostages from Gaza. A 45-year-old man threw dangerous burning objects at the crowd. Eight people got hurt, and some are seriously injured.

The Colorado Attorney General, Phil Weiser, said this attack looks like a hate crime because of the group that was attacked.
