This warm gesture is meant to celebrate the spirit of the festival with all travellers entering the country.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) is behind this thoughtful initiative. They’re using this festive stamp throughout the Eid weekend, offering visitors a memorable and cheerful welcome during one of the most special times of the year.

Eid Al Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, is one of the most important religious holidays celebrated by Muslims across the world. It honours the story of Prophet Ibrahim, who was willing to sacrifice his son as a sign of obedience to God. In the UAE, Eid Al Adha 2025 began on Friday, June 6, following the Day of Arafah. Residents received a four-day weekend, from Thursday, June 5, to Sunday, June 8, giving them time to celebrate and enjoy with their loved ones.
