UAE Strengthens Industry Growth with Serh Group Launch and Deal

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, said that because of the great vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, the country has become an important center for advanced industries.

During his visit to the Make it in the Emirates exhibition, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, His Highness spoke about how the wise leaders of the UAE focus strongly on growing the industrial sector. They want to fill this sector with skilled national workers because it is very important for the country’s growth, development, and for making the economy stronger and more varied. The fourth Make it in the Emirates event brought together many important leaders, government and private officials, business people, investors, experts, and finance specialists.

While visiting the exhibition, His Highness saw many new industrial products, technologies, and solutions. These show how much the UAE’s industrial sector is growing and how it helps the country’s economy become more varied and able to compete around the world.

His Highness felt proud of the great national achievements and new ideas he saw. He said that the Make it in the Emirates project is an important platform. It shows the leadership’s goal of building a strong and lasting national economy based on innovation and advanced industries.

During the visit, His Highness officially introduced Serh Group, a company from the UAE that is a leader in oil and gas work, logistics services, and supplying workers. At the launch event, which many top officials and business leaders attended, Serh Group showed its new logo and company look. The logo is inspired by the Serh tree, which is a strong, flexible, and long-lasting tree that grows in the UAE’s natural environment.

At the event, Serh Group also announced a big agreement with ADNOC, worth 2 billion dirhams. According to the agreement, Serh Group will supply ADNOC with many types of equipment and machines over five years to help ADNOC with its important energy projects.

The agreement was signed in front of His Excellency Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, the UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and CEO of ADNOC, and Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, the Chairman of Serh Group. Other top officials, including Saif Al Falahi from ADNOC, were also there for the signing.

HE Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber said, “Following the leadership’s instructions to support economic, industrial, and logistical growth in the UAE, ADNOC is happy to work more closely with Serh Group. This partnership shows our promise to build strong teamwork that helps us reach our goals. Together, we will look for new chances to create long-term value and growth for both ADNOC and Serh Group.”

Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Chairman of Serh Group, said, “Our new identity launch is an important step in our company’s story. We offer complete, new, and lasting solutions to our clients in oil and gas, logistics, and worker supply. Our history of excellence and knowledge helps us lead and grow while serving the UAE’s industrial and economic progress.”

Serh Group was once called Al Dhafra Technical Services. It was formed when Al Dhafra Cooperative Society and Delma Cooperative Society joined together. Both societies were started by orders from the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in 1976 and 1981. Over time, Serh Group has become a trusted company that supports Abu Dhabi’s economic and social growth.

The company’s name and logo are inspired by the Serh tree. This tree is over 100 years old and very strong, able to survive in the UAE’s environment. Serh Group takes strength from its roots and moves forward with hope toward a future that is both strong and full of promise.
