The brand-new Emirates A350 plane has landed at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan. This marks the beginning of its regular flights between Dubai and Amman. It will now fly on the second daily route between the two cities.
The A350 was first planned to begin flying on this route from June 1. But Emirates moved up the date by two weeks. Flight EK905 left Dubai at 10:10 PM on May 19 and landed in Amman at 12:15 AM on May 20. On the return trip, EK906 took off from Amman at 2:05 AM and arrived in Dubai at 6:05 AM on the same day.

This new A350 plane has three types of seats for passengers. It offers a total of 312 seats. There are 32 Business Class seats that can turn into flat beds and are arranged in a 1-2-1 pattern. Then, there are 21 Premium Economy seats placed in a 2-3-2 layout. The rest are 259 Economy Class seats arranged in a 3-3-3 format.
The inside of the plane is built for comfort. It has high ceilings, wide walkways, and a quieter space during the flight. No matter which class you sit in, you get to enjoy the latest in-flight entertainment. This includes big screens, better lighting, faster Wi-Fi, and seats made for more comfort.
The landing of the A350 in Amman is a big moment for Emirates. The airline has had a strong relationship with Jordan since 1986. This move also shows how much Emirates is investing in Jordan’s travel and trade. It helps improve connections between Dubai, Amman, and other cities around the world.
Besides the A350, Emirates also flies its famous A380 aircraft to Amman on another daily flight, EK903 and EK904.
Right now, the Emirates A350 is flying to six other cities for short and medium trips, such as Edinburgh, Kuwait, and Mumbai. Soon, it will also fly to places like Oslo, Istanbul, and Ho Chi Minh City. By the end of this year, Emirates plans to use the A350 to serve 17 cities across the globe.
