The Dubai Centre for Family Businesses, which is part of Dubai Chambers, recently hosted an exciting online masterclass. This special session was created to help young leaders from family-owned businesses learn how to use a new technology called Generative AI. A total of 24 participants joined the session.
This training was called the “GenAI Masterclass.” It was designed to show how AI (Artificial Intelligence) can be used to help family businesses grow and become more successful. The goal was to teach the next generation of leaders how to use this smart technology to improve their business work and bring in new ideas.
During the masterclass, the participants learned how AI can change the way businesses operate. The session included simple explanations, real-life examples, and smart ideas that matched the way businesses work in Dubai. It helped young business members understand how AI can be used for long-term success, while still keeping their family values strong.
This workshop was part of a bigger learning program called the Next-Gen Family Businesses Training Programme. It was created by the Dubai Centre for Family Businesses along with PwC, a well-known global company. This program helps young family business members gain the skills and knowledge they need to run their businesses well.

The training supports them in learning practical and digital skills. It also helps them solve business problems and become confident leaders who can guide their family businesses into the future.
The Dubai Centre for Family Businesses itself was started in May 2023. It works to support the growth and long-term success of family businesses in Dubai. The Centre works closely with both government and private partners to give these businesses the help they need to grow and keep playing an important role in Dubai’s economy.
This masterclass was just one of the many efforts to prepare future leaders to take their family businesses forward in a fast-changing world.
