The UAE has taken a major step in streamlining government services for domestic workers with the launch of a new set of services on the Work Bundle platform. This initiative allows residents and citizens to manage visas, medical exams, and employment contracts digitally, all in one place.
The move is part of the country’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, which aims to eliminate unnecessary procedures, reduce paperwork, and make government services faster and more user-friendly. Citizens can now complete domestic worker transactions without visiting multiple offices, significantly saving time and effort.
Through the Work in UAE platform (workinuae.ae), users can fill out a standardised form with the worker’s personal details, upload passport copies, sign contracts electronically, schedule medical examinations, receive test results, and obtain Emirates IDs and residency visas. The integration between authorities ensures a seamless experience and reduces the number of steps traditionally needed to complete these processes.

The service is made possible through cooperation among several government entities, including the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security, Emirates Health Services, Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, and Department of Health - Abu Dhabi. Advanced data sharing and integration across these bodies allow for proactive services and fewer document requirements.
The Work Bundle platform also features a unified payment system and standardised forms, meaning customers enter their information once, avoiding repetitive submissions. This approach not only simplifies procedures for users but also helps government agencies manage resources more efficiently.
By bringing domestic worker services under a single digital umbrella, the UAE reinforces its reputation as a global leader in integrated government services, offering fast, secure, and convenient solutions that match the needs of a modern society.
