The UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, paid a special visit to the 22nd Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, also known as ADIHEX 2025. The exhibition, held under the theme “The Legacy Lives On”, is taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) and celebrates the UAE’s rich cultural traditions and modern innovations in hunting and equestrian practices.
During his tour, His Highness explored the national pavilions, which beautifully display Emirati heritage. These pavilions showcase traditional customs, art, and crafts, alongside modern solutions that combine old traditions with new technology. The President also visited several international stands where he learned about innovative products and sustainable practices designed to promote responsible hunting and equestrian activities.
His Highness highlighted the importance of preserving the nation’s heritage. He stressed that passing down knowledge and traditions to future generations is essential to maintaining cultural identity. The exhibition demonstrates how falconry and equestrian sports, which are central to Emirati culture, can be practiced in a way that respects the environment and embraces modern techniques.

He praised the high standards of organization at the exhibition and said it is a model for hosting major international events. The President’s visit was accompanied by several senior officials, including H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs, and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs. Together, they viewed exhibits, attended briefings, and interacted with organizers and participants from across the world.
The exhibition also features cutting-edge technology in equestrian equipment, sustainable hunting practices, and environmentally conscious solutions. By bringing together tradition and innovation, ADIHEX 2025 provides an opportunity for visitors to understand how the UAE honors its heritage while preparing for a sustainable future.
