Flight operations across the United Arab Emirates have been disrupted due to the ongoing regional conflict, with several cancellations and delays reported at major airports. The situation has affected both arrivals and departures, particularly at Zayed International Airport and Dubai International Airport.
At Abu Dhabi, multiple incoming flights operated by airlines such as Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, IndiGo, and Air India Express were cancelled. Routes affected included flights from major cities like Tel Aviv, Cairo, Chennai, Mumbai, and Bahrain, indicating widespread disruption across international connections.
Meanwhile, Dubai International Airport reported no major cancellations but experienced multiple delays and schedule adjustments. Emirates confirmed it is operating a reduced schedule and advised passengers to check flight status regularly, even after check-in.
Airlines have introduced flexible policies to assist travelers, including free rebooking and refunds within specific travel periods. These measures aim to ease the inconvenience caused by sudden disruptions linked to restricted airspace in the region.
The aviation sector in the Gulf is gradually recovering, with flight numbers increasing compared to the early days of the conflict. However, uncertainty remains as airlines continue to adjust routes and schedules in response to evolving geopolitical conditions.
