Dubai, UAE : The UAE is witnessing a remarkable shift in beauty habits as consumers increasingly embrace clean, toxin-free products. GlowTerra Clean Beauty, the region’s first all-clean beauty retailer, has unveiled its inaugural UAE Clean Icons 2025 Report, highlighting emerging trends, brand loyalties, and the growing influence of local innovators.
The report, based on in-store sales data, repeat purchases, and consumer trials across more than 40 brands, reveals that products rated Elevated Clean and Ultimate Clean enjoy the highest loyalty. This indicates a clear preference for transparency and purity, signaling a move beyond the “natural” niche to mainstream adoption.
K-Beauty Dominates Skincare
Korean skincare continues to lead the market, with brands like Hanskin, CosRX, Medicube, and Beauty of Joseon winning consumer trust for their gentle yet effective formulations. Affordable pricing combined with innovative ingredient science has made K-beauty a go-to choice for UAE skincare enthusiasts.
Homegrown Brands Gain Momentum
Local UAE brands are emerging as strong players in clean beauty. Passion Labs, Kamira, and IFMNS are performing across multiple categories, from body care to skincare, highlighting a growing sophistication in regional beauty offerings. Many of these brands are women-led, falling into two key archetypes: science-driven formulators and visionary founders focusing on international reach.

Global Meets Local Innovation
The report highlights that the UAE is not just adopting global trends but shaping them. Winners span over a dozen countries, including the UK, Australia, Belgium, and South Korea, sitting alongside homegrown names like Passion Labs, Izil, and GLOSSIC. This mix underscores the UAE’s position as a global hub for clean beauty innovation.
Fragrance and Sensory Appeal Matter
In a region where scent is central to beauty culture, brands that craft sensory-rich experiences through essential oils have a clear edge. Hair and body care products like Zaphira Nature and Sarazine are becoming part of daily rituals, showing that fragrance can turn functional beauty into an emotional experience.
Overall, the UAE Clean Icons 2025 Report demonstrates a consumer-led shift toward purity, transparency, and conscious choices. Both local and international brands are finding traction, reflecting a market where homegrown innovation thrives alongside global expertise.
