On April 10, 2026, a pivotal discussion aimed at fortifying international collaborations unfolded as Turkmenistan interacted with UNESCO in a virtual setting.
This videoconference featured Deputy Foreign Minister Myahri Byashimova and Amir Piric, the Director of UNESCO’s Regional Office in Almaty.
Throughout the meeting, both parties assessed their existing partnership and contemplated future opportunities. They highlighted that collaboration with UNESCO is fundamental to Turkmenistan’s humanitarian cooperation goals on the global stage.
