The third Global Media Congress (GMC) 2024 started in Abu Dhabi at the ADNEC Centre. The event will last until November 28, 2024. It is organized by ADNEC Group and Emirates The event is under the support of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Vice President, and His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed.

The opening ceremony began with the UAE national anthem. It was followed by a presentation that showed how the media in the UAE has changed. Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, who is the head of the National Media Office, gave the main speech.
After the opening, Sheikh Theyab visited the exhibition, where the latest media technologies were displayed. The exhibition showed how new tools, including smart technology, are used in news, video, and audio creation.
Sheikh Theyab said that under the guidance of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, the UAE has become a place for new and creative media. He also said that the UAE is now a center for important media talks that help keep the country’s values strong. He believes that the congress will help media grow in a good and responsible way.
Sheikh Abdulla shared how the UAE is creating a strong and creative media world. He also talked about how the UAE is working with other countries to improve the media. He said that the congress is a chance to find new business chances and talk about the changes in the media world.
Sheikh Abdulla also pointed out that the media is always changing and offers lots of chances for investment. He believes that the congress is important for talking about the future of media, especially as new technology keeps changing how we get information. The UAE will continue to lead the way in media and new ideas.
