In his capacity as the Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who also serves as the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, has issued Decree No. (42) of 2024. This decree promotes Dr. Abdullah Saif Al-Sabousi and appoints him as the Secretary General of the Dubai Judicial Council.
Dr. Al-Sabousi's appointment comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the judicial system in Dubai, ensuring that it remains robust and capable of meeting the emirate's evolving legal needs. Known for his extensive experience and dedication to the field of law, Dr. Al-Sabousi is expected to bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.
The decree, which underscores the leadership's commitment to maintaining high standards within the judicial sector, is effective from the date of its issuance. It mandates the publication of this decision in the Official Gazette to formalize the appointment.
