About the Show – The Royals
The Royals is a 2025 Indian drama series on Netflix. It was created by Rangita and Ishita Pritish Nandy and directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana. The show mixes royal life with modern business dreams.

The main character is Prince Aviraaj Singh, played by Ishaan Khatter. He is a polo-playing royal who suddenly becomes the Maharaja after his father dies. But his family is in money trouble. To fix this, he teams up with Sophia Shekhar, played by Bhumi Pednekar, who is a strong and smart CEO. Together, they plan to turn the old royal palace into a fancy hotel for guests.
