His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, met today with India’s Defence Minister, His Excellency Rajnath Singh. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in New Delhi as part of Sheikh Hamdan’s official visit to India, which started earlier in the day.
During the meeting, both leaders talked about ways to boost defence and military cooperation between the UAE and India. They discussed important areas like defence industries, military training, sharing skills, and technology transfer. They also talked about starting joint projects that can help both countries strengthen their defence systems and grow their strategic partnership.
Both sides agreed that staying in touch and working together regularly on regional and global security matters is very important. They said defence cooperation is a key part of the overall relationship between the two countries.

Sheikh Hamdan and Rajnath Singh also spoke about current global issues and agreed on the importance of solving problems through peaceful talks and diplomacy. They said that for any country to grow peacefully—both economically and socially—there needs to be strong international cooperation and lasting peace.
