The meeting also talked about finding skilled workers for jobs at Sharjah Police and the academy. The academy is making a plan to make sure there are enough talented people to reach its goals. The academy was praised for earning international awards for its programs. The certificates given by the academy are accepted worldwide, showing that the academy’s education is of high quality.

The Competency Development Department shared its work for 2024. This department helps train police officers and academy members. They created special training programs and got approval from important organizations in Sharjah. The academy also became an international center for first aid and medical training. One of its programs trained 900 teachers in Sharjah to give first aid. The department also ran 207 training sessions, helping 4,644 workers from 21 government offices.

The board decided that the graduation ceremony for the second group of PhD students and the sixth group of Master’s students will happen on November 27th. Some teachers were promoted because they met the requirements. The board also agreed to change some academy rules to match new ways of teaching. They also allowed members of Dubai Civil Defence to join the academy’s Bachelor’s program in Police Sciences.

The meeting showed that more students are joining the academy’s Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs. This shows that people trust the academy’s education. The academy also took part in the 43rd Sharjah International Book Fair, where it displayed books on police work, law, technology, cybersecurity, and other subjects.

The meeting was attended by senior police officers and leaders of the academy, including Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer. The meeting showed that the academy is working hard to improve education, train skilled police officers, and stay a leader in training.
